A Peacock of fame

Enlightened by a strip of mermaid blue.
A shimmer quivers in the wavering light.

Target of a happy incident.  Silver bullets of excited fish pelt my dark suit.
Squeal like an infant. Squeal with joy. Lift up the sides of my pink full lips and laugh like Summer.  Let the northeast wind carry my mirth, to you.

The other side.

A small garden sat on top of a hill,
greeted the morning suns and the evening chills
The nights were lovely,
moonlit flowers sang coyly
of love stories never told
till the lovers were old.

Ah secret love! ´Tis the nervous passion that
thrive in the young chests of every age.

The garden, too, had found a mistress in her heart
and let my words be marked,
the journey she faced was bitter'n hard.

A traveler.
Where golden leaves fell with the wind
he set his foot.
In the beginning of autumn,
the traveler stumbled upon the garden.

Whatever his quest,
a stranger is a guest.
With the ribbons tied to her dress,
the garden graced his visit,
genuine but watchful nevertheless.

A fortnight the garden nested the traveler,
for he was kind and generous with his treasures.

But as the last moon set for daylight,
the garden began to cry,
for the traveler was leaving
and taking
with him her most beautiful blossoms.

Where he swore an oath to return,
or let his soul burn,
the traveler left for lands foreign.

Many a day the small garden waited.
Many a year the small garden waited.
On a morn of flowering spring winds,
the traveler returned.

He had lost her blossoms on a stormy sea ride.
But returned, with flowers brought
from the other side.

Flower

Music: Lana Del Rey - Born To Die The Paradise
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3wygLRmSHI

Time:9:48 pm

Limp like a dying rose days without water, the stem is a floppy green string of common death.  Soggy and damp to the touch, her petals start to cry deep red tears.  The north wind confuses her soft head,  blowing in the dark a distortion of directions.  Where do I go? Where will you go? Where is your hand for me to hold? Why do you have thorns that cut me?
So many questions and so few answered. My gentle flower regards me in her quiet wisdom.

I feed her liquid, feed her life.  She drinks hungrily, but only just holding off death at bay.

Casuals

Time: 2:26pm

A few drops of Malibu and  with their dark hair draped around smooth shoulders, the girls fall back, relaxed.
A night air presses gently on their cool foreheads.
Leilei sits with her delicate legs dangling from a high wooden stool. Her guests form a warm circle around a menu listed by Friday. Wispy clouds of warm sweet scent linger in between their beautifully tanned faces. Softened by the Southern sun. A good-natured old pup props herself against by my feet, softly panting. My toes rub lovingly at the soft belly. More gentle whining.

As flows of memories make individual entrances and exits.  We try and relive certain moments that made us who we think we are.  A little unicorn on the top of our heads gallop in circles, sputtering glitter. That's how special it was.

Crash

Music: Kelly Kelly Clarkson - Where is your heart

 Time: 10:00 pm

How ridiculous is it, that a heart can flip moods like an expert cook with steak.
I treat my symptoms with verbal therapy. I heal myself with a spoken truth.  Like a child softly murmuring and then carefully but clearly articulating new sounds.  Addressing life's problems in the face.
Come again a neon blue. The blunt stabs denting the walls of my sanity.
Make stronger.

Mask

Music: Radiohead - No Surprises

Time: 21:02

I quickly transform my face into lines of rigidness.  It's quite a clever mask and most times I'm quite proud of it.  But lately I've begun to fear the mask is taking over, and the delicate parts of my face can not tell when the act is over, and stays contracted.  I massage them with the tip of my fingertips.  Clockwise, then anticlockwise.
I go about my daily business with a blue sky capped above my head, a true bliss considering where I come from.  I imagine Taipei gloomy, with its grey population trudging about. And here I walk with my water bottle, temperature cool and giving away to the surrounding heat. I walk back and forth between my office chair and the conference room.  That's where I refill the my water bottle.  The water enters my bottle in a steady flow but my mind is a blank flow. I peer out like an aging prisoner sentenced to love.

I never look forward to you.

Music: TINA MAY & NIKKI ILES - Change Of Sky
 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQnY4F_RtXM

Mad and tired. derit dna daM. If there was no bubble to begin with why does she feel like as if the bubble's burst?  Then one feels so ridiculously foolish because she knew, she knew that feelings were not trustworthy.  Of hers or anyone's.

Shallow music enter ears of regret.  Never once have they fallen together in the whirlpool of gold at rainbow's end. A dip or two, she says guiltily, I only splashed about a bit, nothing serious. But she wrings her hands as she vomits up ribbons of lies.

I never look forward to you.
